Congratulations to this month’s Staff Spot Award winners, Mr. Stiefbold and Mrs. Zeman!

Mr. Stiefbold and Mrs. Zeman consistently go above and beyond for our students, staff, and school community. Their dedication, teamwork, and positive attitudes make a difference each and every day. We are grateful for their hard work and commitment to helping our school continue to thrive.

The parent nomination for Mr. Stiefbold read, "My son always says how Mr. Steifbold is a great math teacher, he makes math fun and comes up with games that help teach the students. He helps them prepare for tests and teaches math strategies."

The parent nomination for Mrs. Zeman read, "I was a parent volunteer during the Kids' Heart Challenge. For whatever reason, there weren't that many parent volunteers there that day but Mrs. Zeman didn't let that stop her. She hustled from station to station to make sure everyone was staying safe and having a great time. She even called in some personal favors from retired staff members and the fact that they all came that afternoon is a testament to how special Mrs. Zeman is."

Mrs. Martin has volunteered her time to offer extra help to students after school who are struggling in phonics. I am incredibly grateful for her and the support she is showing to my son who needs some extra help.

On Friday, we proudly celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with the Lagonigro family. It was a meaningful opportunity for our school community to come together and learn about the importance of celebrating differences and embracing what makes each of us unique.

Our students participated in thoughtful discussions and worked collaboratively to create a beautiful art piece that represents inclusion, kindness, and acceptance. This special project will be on display at Lincoln School as a reminder of the values we share.
