Congratulations to Mrs. Goldman and Mr. Villanella for receiving Staff Spot Awards for the month of September! Nominations read:
Mrs. Goldman: One the 1st day of Kindergarten, my son was nervous to leave us and held it together until he had to go in and was crying and nervous. Mrs. Goldman emailed me precisely 15 minutes later saying that my son was all good and that he was happily playing with Play-Doh now. As a parent with a kid in elementary school for the first time, this really put me at ease and I was not even expecting an update! 2 days later, it was my son's first time at Champions After Care and he was nervous again and Mrs. Goldman came out and made him feel at ease. Mrs. Goldman went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable and we are very appreciative. Thank you!!!
Mr. Villanella: My child was nervous for the first day of school, and he went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and ready to start the year off on a positive note.

Both students have shown wonderful examples of friendship, and we are so proud of the positive impact they bring to our school community.
