Degrees and Certifications:
Hello! My name is Miss Reggiani and I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Washington Elementary! I previously taught Kindergarten in Jefferson Township and I am looking forward to educating our youngest learners at Washington Elementary. I am passionate about education, specifically my heart belongs in the Kindergarten classroom. I consider myself a life-long learner and I am dedicated to ensuring all my students receive the best education possible.
I consider all my students my kids and make it a point to create a safe and inviting space for each child to walk into every morning. I believe in fostering creativty, curiousity, and a love of learning through lessons designed to meet every students needs and interests. It is equally as important to me that students are happy and learn how to be a part of a community. Overall, child development is a key element of all aspects of my classrom.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey with a duel major in Elementary Education and Art. I am currently pursuing my Endorsement in Special Education through Rutgers University. My certifications include Elementary Education K-6, Art Education, and Special Education. One of my greatest future goals is to open an Arts integrated Summer program for Special needs children.
When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling, going to museums, painting, doing yoga, and spending time with my family. My favorite museum is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I come from a family of teachers and frequently attend Professional Development workshops with my mother, who is also a Kindergarten teacher.
I can't wait to meet you!
