The Caldwell-West Caldwell Education Foundation (CWCEF) is an independent, nonprofit community-based organization, designed to provide an ongoing and centralized source of additional and/or alternative funds and the resources to assist the Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School District, its parents, educators and children.

Our purpose is to fund district-wide projects and programs for which funds are not available via federal, state or local public sources. Our first two years as a full-fledged non-profit organization were a huge success! We held our annual Taste of the Caldwells event, initiated the very successful Teacher Tribute Card Program, and were the recipient of a nearly $10,000 grant from the Mountainside Health Foundation. With the funds raised from these and other grants and donations from individuals, organizations and other foundations, the CWCEF purchased an extensive Dance Dance Revolution program for the Grover Cleveland Middle School (it is a HUGE hit!), a microscope for the high school, an LCD projector and cart for EACH of the elementary schools, and pedometers for each elementary school student within the school district! In addition, we awarded two rounds of Teacher Mini-Grants valued at nearly $7000. And more is coming VERY soon to all of our schools.

Please feel free to e-mail us at cwcefinfo@gmail.com or call us at 973-226-7769 with any questions or comments. We also welcome any suggestions or ideas that you may have regarding both fundraising and projects that will benefit our students. We look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your interest in the Foundation!
