I'm excited to join the James Caldwell High School team after teaching history in Mendham for 7 years.  I am a proud graduate of James Caldwell High School- Class of 2006. It's great to be back!

I earned a BA in History with High Honors from Muhlenberg College in 2010. I was the Valedictorian of my graduating class and earned secondary education certification. I studied Constitutional Law at Georgetown University through the James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation. As one of roughly 50 James Madison Fellows, it was an honor to be New Jersey's representative.  In May 2018, I graduated with an MA in History from Seton Hall University.  Academic honors and affiliations include: Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa (Academics), Phi Alpha Theta (History), Omicron Delta Kappa (Leadership), and Who's Who in American Education.

As a former Starbucks Barista, I appreciate coffee breaks to refuel.  I'm a big fan of the NY Giants and the NY Yankees.

And yes, I am the brother of Mr. McLaughlin from GCMS.

I'm looking forward to teaching AP US I History, Honors World Cultures/English 9, and US I History.  After school, I look forward to coaching the Mock Trial Team and the Freshman Boys' Lacrosse Team.
