2nd FLOOR – a 24 hour crisis response line for anyone under the age of 21 who wants help regarding any personal issue. This response line is based inNew Jersey for NJ residents and trained responders are able to make referrals to appropriate New Jersey support systems and agencies. All calls are confidential. 1-888-222-2228 http://www.2ndfloor.orgJERSEY VOICE- This peer-to-peer Web site, Jersey Voice - www.jerseyvoice.net - helps to promote suicide prevention and encourages youth and young adults to communicate creatively about the difficult times they are experiencing so their messages can help peers encountering similar problems.CRISIS MOBILE RESPONSE: 24 hour crisis response unit that will respond to in-home crisis situations involving NJ youth (please note: in cases where a child appears to be an imminent threat to him/herself or others, please call the police at 911): 1-877- 652-7624BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES AT MOUNTAINSIDE HOSPITAL: 973-429-6775. Hospital-based service to assess youth in crisis and make referrals to an appropriate level of service.
