Eating and Body ImageEating disorders -- such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder – include extreme emotions, attitudes, and behaviors surrounding weight and food issues. Eating disorders are serious emotional and physical problems that can have life-threatening consequences for both females and males. While eating disorders may begin with preoccupations with food and weight, they are most often about much more than food. See the blue side-bar for resources to gather information or get help regarding disordered eating.
