Hi My name is Mrs. LaurieAnn Minardi. I started teaching First Grade at Wilson School in 2001. In 2009 I began teaching Second Grade. Now, since 2013, I am so happy to be teaching Kindergarten! Prior to Wilson School, I taught second and third grade for 7 years in another district. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, along with a minor in Sociology from St. John's University. I received my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from The College of Staten Island. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I studied abroad in Budapest, Hungary. I also traveled to many different countries including, Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and Mexico.
I have been married to my husband since 2000. I have two beautiful children: a daughter and a son. In my spare time, I love to read, go to the beach, travel, go to Broadway shows, and spend quality time with my family!
I look forward to another Wonderful Year in Kindergarten, especially now that it is full day!
