Dr. Christopher Conklin was a classroom teacher for several years, a member of the Child Student Team as the Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant for several years, served as a school and/or district administrator for over 20 years, and taught graduate level classes as an adjunct professor at William Paterson University for over 10 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, two master’s degrees from New Jersey City University and a Doctorate of Education from Northcentral University. He is married for over 23 years, has two “adult” children, and a rescue dog named Daizy. His wife is a high school art teacher in Somerville. His oldest daughter attends Drew University and is majoring in psychology. She is the captain of the Women’s Golf Team and a two-time WGCA All-American Scholar. His youngest daughter plans to attend Montclair State University in the Fall of 2021 and plans to major in communication. She loves music and plays several instruments, but her favorite is the piano. Dr. Conklin plays golf in his free time and enjoys taking his dog Daizy for walks.
