In the event of inclement weather, the decision may be made to close school or delay the opening of school. This decision is made by the Superintendent of Schools in consultation with the Caldwell and West Caldwell Police. In the event of a closing or a delayed opening, the school community will be notified by the SchoolMessenger Alert system. Information will also be posted on the district website and Facebook and Twitter accounts.

*In the case of a Delayed Opening Before Care will not operate.

*Be sure to keep your contact information up-to-date in your child's Genesis account. This information is used for all School Messenger Alerts. If you are having any issues with your SchoolMessenger alerts, please email info@cwcboe.org.

*Note: The Caldwell-West Caldwell Schools do not have an early dismissal program for inclement weather. If a parent/guardian wishes to remove their child early from school, they may do so by going to the main office of the school and signing them out.
