• After teaching at both GCMS and JCHS for some years now, I have gotten the chance to know quite a few students, but I know there are still some students wandering the halls here who don't know much me. Before you wander into my gymnasium there are a few things you might want to know!WPU
I graduated from William Paterson University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science. During my years at college I was part of the Exercise and Movement Science Major which prepared me to become a Physical Education and Health Teacher. Some of my favorite classes in college were Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry. Although, the classes where I got to play Ultimate Frisbee and Speedball were quite fun too!
While I was in college I worked at Curves (a women's fitness center) where I learned a lot about fitness, health and weight management. Working at Curves helped prepare me for my job today because I was able to be an encourager and motivator to the members, just like I am with my students here at Caldwell.
FHIn 2005, I began coaching field hockey at the high school level. By 2007, I was the head coach of the entire program! Not yet even graduated from college, I was one of the youngest coaches in the state. Being a coach is such a rewarding job and always a great way to get to know Softballstudents. I have also spent time coaching softball in town for the 10U program. I am entering my third year as Assistant Coach.
Although teaching and coaching are two passions of mine, I enjoy quite a few other activities. Working out and reading, however contradictory they might seem, are my favorite things to do. I have read too many books to count and hope to have a  library in my house someday! I play on two softball teams and can cook a mean shrimp enchilada, among other things! In the fall, Sundays are dedicated to football. The Philadelphia Eagles are my favorite team, but I'll gladly watch it all day long! Eagles

I look forward to seeing what the future holds for me at GCMS!
