• Essential Strings 2

Once students have had one-full school year of instruction and are continuing into their second year, they move into our Essential Strings 2 grouping.

Students that started in the 3rd grade and are now 4th graders will be invited to join the 4th and 5th grade orchestra in January 2022. To qualify to be in the orchestra, students must have at least one and a half years of eperience playing their instrument.

    Performance Dates!

Students that are in their second year and beyond of studying the violin will have three performance opportunities througout the year. This means they will have three performance opportunities in the forms of an Intermediate Strings Recital, All-District Concert and Spring Concert. *These events may be subject to revision pending COVID-19 restrictions, safety guidelines and accomodations.

For the Intermediate String Recital, students will have the option to play solo or in a group setting in front of their string peers and parents (not a school wide assembly).
