Cell Phone & Telephone Usage
Elementary school students who bring cell phones to school must turn them off during school hours. Cell phones which ring during the school day or are used to make outgoing calls may be confiscated by teachers or administrators and will be returned to a parent at the end of the day. Under no circumstances may cell phones be used for picture-taking at school.
Student use of the classroom or office telephone is discouraged except when genuine need is proven. It is not permitted for social reasons. Likewise, we encourage parents to arrange social opportunities before school begins and not to call school to inform students of such arrangements. Classes will not be interrupted to deliver telephone messages other than in an emergency
