• Welcome to 7th Grade! I am so excited to be starting this school year with you! My teaching career started in 2016 after I graduated from William Paterson University, and shortly after graduation, I became an inclusion middle school language arts teacher in Elmwood Park, NJ . After being an inclusion teacher at middle school, I transitioned into being a 6th grade language arts and social studies teacher in River Edge, NJ.  In 2018, a position in the Caldwell-West Caldwell School District that I could not pass up. My first four years at Grover Cleveland Middle School, I was a special education teacher for 7th grade, specifically focusing on language arts and social studies. In 2022, I transitioned into a 7th Grade ELA teacher. I am so happy to start this journey as ELA is my passion and I love all of the texts that we cover in our curriculum.

I firmly believe in creating rigorous, student-centered learning experiences where students are able to work collaboratively to achieve a common goal. I think it is important that all students feel welcomed, safe, and feel comfortable taking risks while learning.  I am always here to support my students in any way that I can--- we can do it! Beyond teaching, I have just earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and currently just started my second master's in Educational Leadership.

In my free time, I enjoy binge watching Netflix, reading books, going to the beach, and hanging out with my family and friends. You can usually find my in my bay window reading a book on my kindle with my french bulldog, Quinn, sitting next to me.

I am so very excited to start this year with you! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I am always here to help!
