Mr. Nicholas Meyer

 

I graduated high school from the Academies @ Englewood with a focus in Pre-Engineering. I then went on, to continue my studies at SUNY New Paltz, also known as the State University of New York at New Paltz, where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Adolescence Education; Biology with a Minor in Mathematics. Following this, I completed two Graduate Degrees in Special Education and Educational Leadership at Montclair State University. I also currently take elective, graduate level courses to strengthen my educational parctices. 

 

Throughout my career as an educator I have taught a very wide and extensive range of courses, which has helped to strengthen my knowledge in the fields of Science and Mathematics. The courses that I have taught during my career include, Algebra I, Algebra II, AP Statistics, Biology I, Honors Biology I, Biology II, Biological Diversity, Investigations in Biology, Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Conceptual Chemistry, Computers, Environmental Science, Natural Science, Physics, Investigations in Chemistry and Physics, and Physical Science.  

 

In addition to teaching at the high school level. I am currently an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I teach a Biological Diversity labratory course.

 

I bring a very high level of energy and enthusiasm to the classroom, which makes a very enjoyable, productive and successful classroom. I look forward to a very exciting year.
