The results are in for the summer Study Island Contest! Not only was I able to see that many students logged on numerous times over their summer vacation, but I was also able to see how many problems they answered, how long they spent on the website, and what percentage of questions they got right. I must say that I was very impressed with the amount of time and effort that many students put into this contest. The raffle to reward the students for their hard work over the summer took place on Tuesday the 16th and was a huge success!
We are currently working on Chapter 5: Analyze Data and Graphs. The topics that will be covered are:
- 5.1-Collect and Organize Data
- 5.2-Find the Mean
- 5.3-Find the Median, Mode, and Range
- 5.4-Problem Solving: Make a Graph (Stem-and-leaf plot)
- 5.5-Analyze Graphs (bar graph, line graph, circle graph, and pictograph).
**The Chapter 5 test will be at the end of the week of September 22nd.
Extra Help/Review:
Monday-Thursday from 3:00-3:30.
