    We are reaching out to all of our parents, staff and community  members to ask for their input relative to the current condition of our schools, the future plans for our district, and suggested enhancements for the district's facilities and grounds. The Educational Facilities and District Direction 2016 Survey will enable you to provide us with the details and answers we need to continue to and better meet the needs of our community.     While 8th grade promotion is a memorable experience in a student’s life, it is not one that should be achieved without meeting high standards. The Grover Cleveland Middle School promotion ceremony celebrates the success of students who have worked hard and fulfilled certain expectations in their studies and in their preparation for high school.

  • Snow Day Give Back

    On Monday, April 18, 2016, the BOE approved the give back of two unused snow days. Schools will be closed on Friday, May 27th, and Tuesday, May 31st. Enjoy the extra-long Memorial Day Weekend!

  • HIB Grade

    The state asks that each school district submit a self-assessment of its implementation of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act. The self-assessment was viewed as an opportunity to reinforce and strengthen the district’s HIB prevention and intervention programs, policies and practices. The state also used the self-assessment process to assign a “grade” to each district and individual school. The maximum total score for a school is 78 points.   • GCMS Morning Care Programs

    In order to better meet the needs of busy families, Grover Cleveland Middle School and the Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education are offering a supervised Morning Care program at the middle school. Starting Monday, November 2, GCMS will offer a supervised Morning Care program for students. If you are interested in signing up, please complete this form and submit your payment to the main office by October 23rd. The fee for Morning Care is $60 a month or $450 for the year.
