Each child in our class has an opportunity to be the Star of the Week.  Your child will receive a note two weeks before his or her week.  The note will include a sheet entitled “The Story of Me” which your child will fill out with your help. “The Story of Me” will be posted on the Star of the Week bulletin board during your child’s special week.  You may also send in some pictures to post on the bulletin board. The pictures will be displayed for the week and returned on Friday.

            The Star of the Week may bring in a favorite book on Monday for me to read to the class on Friday.

In addition the Star of the Week is the line leader and the messenger for the week.
