The entire Lincoln School learning community is rooted in the belief that every child can flourish when a positive and supportive

environment exists. Close communication between and among faculty, administration, and parents provides a level of support to

students that enables all to succeed, evidenced by a comprehensive curriculum, innovative teaching strategies, and high expectations

for student achievement.

The Lincoln School staff is ever mindful of our obligation to encourage the academic, social, and emotional growth of each student, and the

importance of a strong curriculum in any such endeavor cannot be overstated. The elementary curriculum reflects alignment with State Core

Curriculum Content Standards. Staff development opportunities are provided throughout the school year, enabling teachers to refine and update

their skills in accordance with current research on student achievement. Teachers and the administration collaborate regularly as part of the

evaluation process to ensure that the needs of students are consistently met.
