Dear JCHS Community,
April is National Donate Life Month.
Every day in April, people across the U.S. make a
special effort to celebrate the generosity of those who have saved lives by
becoming organ, tissue, marrow, and blood donors and to encourage more Americans
to follow their example.
This year, James Caldwell High
School
will host a blood drive on Thursday, April
3rd in order to show support for National Donate Life
Month. It will be held from 2-7 pm in the auxiliary gym and is open to all
members of the community who meet the criteria for blood donation. An additional
benefit to this blood donation program is that the James Caldwell High
School’s Home School Association will receive a Save
a Life Recognition Award, based on the amount of donations
received.
Please check your calendar and come
donate to show your support for both National Donation Month and the
H.S.A. Further information is available at the JCHS nurse’s office.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Leslie Moran (JCHS School Nurse)
at lmoran@cwcboe.org, or
973-228-9358.
We hope you are able and willing to
join us on Thursday afternoon for our Blood Drive.
Best Wishes,
Kevin Barnes
