To Access One of Mr. Saito’s Class Blogs:

1.  Before you begin, you must have an e-mail address, either your own or

your parent’s e-mail.

2.  Next, you must create a Google account.  If you already have one (you do

if you have G-mail), then skip to direction #3.

a)      To create a Google account, go to Google, press “Sign In”, then on

the next page, press “Create an Account Now”.  On the next page, follow all of the directions and fill in all spots.  Be sure to remember your password!!!!!  (write it down in a safe place)

b)       If you were successful with that page, Google will send you an

e-mail that includes a link to activate your new account.  Press the link on the e-mail to activate your account.

3.  Give Mr. Saito the e-mail address & password you used to create the Google account.

4.  Go to the blog webpage:  http://saito20082009.blogspot.com/

5.  First, you need to sign-in for Mr. Saito’s blog…by pressing “Sign In” in the

top right corner…this will take you to the BLOGGER site, where you type in your username (email address) and password…press “Sign In”.

For the first time only, create your DISPLAY NAME:

First Name/Last Initial

            Ex.  Derek Jeter’s display name is DerekJ

Then, ‘back page’ until you get back to Mr. Saito’s blog.  You will know that you are signed-in because you will see your username (email address) in the top right corner of Mr. Saito’s blog.

5.  To begin commenting, press the “Comments” link in the bottom right

corner of any post, and follow directions. 

6.  You will not be able to see your posted comments until Mr. Saito has

approved them.  It is good practice to not type other people’s names.

7.  In the future, you will have to sign-in with your Username and Password,

just like you did in direction #4.
