Create a Line Graph:  How much do you grow?

Make a LINE graph using Excel:

1.                 On the spreadsheet, in column A, type in the units of time you used.

2.                 In column B, type in the data that matches each unit of time.

3.                 Highlight all of the cells you used.

4.                 Click the ChartWizard icon near the top of the page.

5.                 Click on “XY Scatter” chart.  Click next.

6.                 For step 2, click next again.

7.                 For step 3, type in a title for your graph, and for each axis.  Then, choose the appearance of your “Data Label”, “Gridlines”, “Legend” (see the tabs).  Click next.

8.                 For step 4, choose “as new sheet”.  Click finish.

9.                 Right-click on any part to customize.  *If your x-axis is strange, double-click the x-axis and correct the “Scale” scale and intervals.

10.             “Save as”...name file, save on disk.
