Before School Procedures:
1. All students when arriving at school will proceed DIRECTLY to the cafeteria or library…no need to stop at lockers.
2. There are only 2 exceptions to this rule:
a) student has a rehearsal (i.e. band, chorus, other music stuff)
b) student will see a teacher (i.e. extra help, detention, Academic Support, other appointment)
3. Before school, a teacher hall monitor will be roaming…students in hallways will receive a warning or office referral. But, any 6th grade teacher that sees students in the hallways will also give warnings or office referrals.
4. Students will be dismissed from the cafeteria or library around 8:25…at this point, students will go DIRECTLY to their lockers. This process should take approximately 5-7 minutes.
5. Students are to be IN their homeroom no later than 8:35. Teachers may let students into homeroom earlier if they choose. If a student arrives to homeroom after 8:35, and without a PASS, the student will receive a teacher detention. If tardiness continues after the teacher detention, then office referrals will follow.
