6^th Grade Student School Supply List, 2008-2009

FYI:     1.  GCMS will supply each student with a daily planner.

            2.  Please replenish supplies, as needed, throughout the school year.

            3.  Backpacks must fit into lockers, which are 12 inches wide and 11 inches deep.

            4.  Shelves for lockers are recommended, but not required.

            5.  There may be additional items to be purchased, depending on the teacher, that

will be discussed on the first day of school.

Sixth graders in our classes are asked to start the year with the following supplies…

Mrs. Perkins & Mr. Saito:

Two 3-ring binders (no larger than 2-inches)

Colored dividers & colored folders (blue, red, green, yellow…for organization)

Two composition books for LA/SS

Blue or Black pens (assignments only accepted in these colors)

#2 pencils (required for math)

Highlighters

Colored Pencils & Markers

Pencil case

Hand-held Manual Pencil Sharpener

Scissors, Glue, Tape, Ruler, & Protractor for assignments and projects at home

3 x 5 index cards (lined)

Floppy disks or USB Drive memory stick (formatted for a PC)

Sharpie markers

Whiteboard markers

Stretchy Book Covers (blue, red, green, yellow…for organization)

NO ACCORDION FOLDERS PLEASE!!
