MP 1:

  2. Important phrases (“frases útiles)
  3. Greetings and introductions
  4. Numbers from 1 – 100

MP 2:

  1. Days of the week
  2. Months of the year
  3. Colors: rojo, rosado, blanco, negro, amarillo, anaranjado, morado, plateado, dorado, azul, verde, gris/plomo, turquesa, marrón/color café, crema, canela.

 

  1. Shapes: círculo, rectángulo, cuadrado, óvalo, triángulo, pentágono, octágono, corazón, diamante, estrella.

 

MP 3:

  1. Pronouns
  2. Conjugation of “ser” (basic professions – ch. 1)
  3. Descriptions: alto, bajo, flaco/delgado/gordo, bonito/guapo, feo, trabajador, perezoso, cómico, serio, inteligente, tonto, simpático, antipático, rubio, moreno, pelirrojo.

 

  1. Adjective/noun agreement

MP 4:

  1. Singular side of the “gustar” conjugation t-chart (me, te, le)

  1. Definite articles
  2. Clothes: pantalones, pantalones  cortos, camiseta, camisa, blusa, vestido, falda, suéter, zapatos, botas, zapatos de tenis (de caucho), sandalias/chancletas, calcetines/medias, corbata, traje, traje de baño, sombrero, gorro(a), cinturón, chaqueta, abrigo.

 

 

7th Grade:

*Review of all material introduced in 6th grade.

Clothes: pantalones, pantalones cortos, camiseta, camisa, blusa, vestido,       falda, suéter, chaleco, zapatos, botas, zapatos de tenis, sandalias/chancletas, calcetines/medias, corbata, traje, traje de baño, piyamas, sombrero, gorro(a), bufanda, cinturón, chaqueta, abrigo, lentes, gafas de sol.

8th Grade:

  3. Pledge in Spanish (“Juramento”).
  4. Geography (location on maps and capitals).
  5. Conjugation of “ser”.
  6. Numbers from 1 – 1,000,000, days of the week, months (cumpleaños – calendario).
  7. Conjugation of “gustar”.

MP 2:

  1. Interrogative words.
  2. Descriptions (personality and physical traits)
  3. Body parts (I will send copy of 8th grade list).
  4. Definite and indefinite articles (quick review).
  5. Clothing (quick rewiew).
  6. Conjugation of “llevar”.
  7. Conjugation of “tener”.
  8. Family (entire list).
  9. Possessive adjectives.

MP 3:

  1. School vocabulary.
  2. AR, ER, IR verb conjugations (I will send lists).
  3. Frequency terms, “hay que” and “tener que”.
  4. Telling time.

MP 4:

  1. Conjugation of “Ir”.
  2. Conjugation of “estar” (teach difference between “ser” and “estar”).
  3. ER and IR irregular verb conjugations (“saber, conocer, oír”).
  4. Emotions and telephone conversation vocabulary.
  5. Conjugation and usage of “acabar de”.
  6. Conjugation of “venir”.
  7. Sports vocabulary and stem changing verbs.
  8. Conjugating verbs in Present Progressive form.
