About Me

Welcome to my page about me, Miss Shaeffer.  I earned a BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Math from Kutztown University and a MA in Counseling from New Jersey City University.  I grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and moved to New Jersey shortly after graduating from Kutztown.  My first teaching position was in Jersey City, teaching a 5th/6th Honors class.   I have always had a passion for math and had the opportunity to pursue that passion at Grover Cleveland Middle School.  I have taught Algebra I, Pre-Algebra, and Regular Math to seventh graders for the past seven years.
