Important Information
|
Cooperative behavior and a positive attitude are required to succeed in
this class. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. (See Behavior
Code provided to students during the first week of school..) After a first time warning,
a disruptive student will
receive a 20-minute after school detention notification slip to be signed by a
parent and returned the following day. If there is a conflict another date
will be scheduled.
During detention, a disruptive student will complete a behavior reflection
sheet based on the 7th grade discipline plan. This will be followed
with a discussion on ways to eliminate the inappropriate behavior. A parent
conference may be requested.
Three detention slips per marking period will result in a negative behavior
comment on the quarterly report card.
