What if I forget my P.E. clothes Mr. "G."?

You may still participate in P.E. while wearing your regular school clothes. But in order to join in and receive participation credit you must wear sneakers. The following are not allowed;

Hiking Boots, Snow Shoes, Glass Slippers, Moon Boots, Sandals, Flip Flops, Flippers,             Ice Skates, Cowboy Boots, or Anti-Gravity Boots.

What if I lose my lock      Mr. "G."?

A lost lock is not the end of the world! If a student loses their lock we ask them to come in before class and look for it. At the beginning of the year all students fill out an information card that lists their lock's combination, serial number, and the locker they put it on.                                          We use this information in our hunt for missing locks.

*Students who are unable to find their lock are required to pay a $5 replacement fee

 What if my clothes are stolen Mr. "G."?

Clothes that are usually stolen out of lockers are often the result of students forgetting to secure their locks. The locker room is patrolled at the end of the day for clothes that are left on the floor. These clothes are placed in the lost and found, but the best way not to become a victim of the infamous locker room bandit is to.....

MAKE SURE YOU SECURE YOUR LOCK!!!

What if I'm sick or don't feel well Mr. "G."?

If you don't feel well your P.E. teacher will let you sit out and you will be sent to the Nurse. If a parent sends in a note from home the student must bring the note directly to the Nurse before P.E.. A note from home can excuse a student from P.E. for only 3 days.

*If a student needs to be out from P.E. for a longer period of time a Doctor's is required.

 What if sports just aren't my thing Mr. "G."?

 No need to worry! At GCMS we do not focus solely on sports. Our main goal is to have our students participate in activities that look to improve their individual levels of fitness. When students do participate in sports we don't care if they are beginners or advanced athletes, all we want our students to do is improve the skill level they possess.

We don't hand out medals or put their faces on cereal boxes, we only motivate them to try new activities!!
