I was born and raised in a neighboring town of Caldwell a very long time ago...When I graduated from high school (a rival of Caldwell's), I went to Rutgers University where I completed my Bachelor's degree and Master's Degree in Education. Following my graduation, I worked in Bloomfield Middle School for several years, and have now hopefully found my permanent home at Grover Cleveland Middle School. I am looking forward to a great year full of exciting experiments, fun projects, and thought-provoking conversations! |

As you can probably guess by my last name, I am Greek; very, very Greek. I enjoy vacationing in Greece every summer, as you can tell by my tan every September, and I speak fluent Greek. I also love listening and dancing to Greek music. Opa! I enjoy reading popular novels and making flower arrangements (my favorite of which are tulips). Some of my favorite TV shows include 24, House, Cash Cab, Mythbusters, General Hospital, Smallville, America's Next Top Model, Brothers and Sisters, and Grey's Anatomy. Do you think I watch too much T.V.???? I also love roller coasters, even though they make me INCREDIBLY sick! Lola Halkias is here! She arrived 5 days early on April 29, 2008. She was born at 1:49 PM and was 7 lbs 1oz. Mommy and baby are both doing great...home relaxing and catching up on all of the missed TV!
