The first date on the calendar for Parent-Teacher conferences is quickly approaching. Teachers will be available for conferences on Thursday, November 20th beginning at 6:30pm. The next date for evening parent-teacher conferences is December 2nd. While we hope parents are taking advantage of the PowerSchool parent portal to check on the academic progress of their children, it is of high priority that the Parent Portal be checked daily starting the week of October 20th.

Each homeroom has been assigned a specific item to bring in by OCTOBER 8 so we can put the baskets together on October 10. HIB Grade

The state has asked that each school district submit a self-assessment of its implementation of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act from January 5, 2011, through June 30, 2013. The self-assessment was viewed as an opportunity to reinforce and strengthen the district’s HIB prevention and intervention programs, policies and practices. The state also used the self-assessment process to assign a “grade” to each district and individual school. The school grade is a raw score of data and the sum of the ratings for all indicators within each core element on the School Self-Assessment (e.g., 65 of 75 points). The maximum total score for a school is 75 points. Click the headline for a letter for additional information on HIB and details realtive to our school district's performance.
