Today will be the last day for all grades to hand in tuxedos to the Music Department.
All Students taking AP Chem in 2008-2009 must come to pick up their summer assignments from Ms. Renzetti today at 3 pm in room 316.
Any Spanish Club member interested in running for an executive position for the 2008-2009 school year, should see Ms. Reeve in room 101 today. We will be holding elections on tomorrow at 3:00pm. All Spanish Club members must attend!
Senior Cheerleaders are reminded to hand in their megaphone money to Ms. Reeve by today.
Anyone interested in running for the 2009 class council please see Mrs. Longo ASAP!
There will be a short Junior Varsity Softball meeting today at 2:45 in Mrs. Longo’s office.
JCHS is looking for several student leaders to begin a chapter of Students Against Destructive Decision-Making (SADD) for the 2008-09 school year. SADD is a national organization that has student-run chapters in high schools across the U.S. This is an opportunity for sophomore and junior students who want a visible leadership role in school. An informational meeting will be held immediately after school on today in room 105. See Ms. Cunningham (located next to the Band room) for details. Check out www.sadd.org.
Any student who wishes to play FALL athletics and has already submitted a NEW athletic physical form for 2007-2008 winter or spring sports, see Mrs. Moran for an update form.

All students planning on taking AP Physics should see Mr. Dubas in room 509 at 3pm on Wed. June 11th.
All students taking AP European History next year must come to room 518 after school on Wednesday, June 11th to pick up your summer assignments.
Attention boys and girls track team members – there will be a end of year party on Wednesday, June 11th at 3:25pm in the cafeteria. Bring your uniforms.
There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing soccer in the fall on Wednesday, June 11th at 2:45 in the café.

Attention all students - Last minute Scholarship Opportunity. The Asia Society and Goldman Sachs Foundation have announced a student essay contest to promote excellence in international education. To enter you must write an in-depth essay or multimedia feature examining a social or economic issue that has relevance to you in a global context. The Deadline to enter is Thursday, June 12th. Come to Guidance for details.
Prom pictures are available in Room 502 after school this week.
All students taking AP Bio next year please pick up assignment and books in Mrs. Press’ room 314 on Thursday at 2:45pm.
Attention all Juniors -If you are thinking about your future and it may include the Naval Academy, now is the time to start the application process. See Guidance for details.
There will be an important meeting on Thursday, June 12th at 3pm in the cafeteria for all students who wish to play volleyball. All should attend this informational meeting.
