II. REFERENCE ONLINE DATABASES: The following online databases are available for students at Grover Cleveland Middle School to use. They require a username and password to access the sites at home. Please see the librarian for the required username and password.
Grolier Online: Choose from three online encyclopedias- Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, and The New Book of Knowledge, or search all three. Many articles include periodicals on that subject and web links. You can even email the articles to yourself. New to our Grolier Online databases is The New Book of Popular Science. Find great scientific information at this site.
Facts on File: Check out the Reference Database Center and click on Science Online (at the top of the page). At the Science Online site type your planet into the search line and click on search.
EBSCO Online: An extensive online magazine, newspaper, reference book, and image source. Click on EBSCOhost web after you have logged on and then Middle Search Plus to search for current materials on your planets.
