2012 Kiwanis Club Annual Foul Shooting Contest boys and girls in grades 5 to 8
Co-sponsored by Caldwell-West Essex Kiwanis Club and the West Caldwell-Caldwell Recreation Program.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12
1. Participants are allowed 3 warm-up shots.
2. Total score based on the best of ten free throws.
3. Shooters who make 7 of 10 or top three finishers qualify for finals.
4. Kiwanis will award trophies to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the 7/8 Grade All Star games

New Superintendent Named
After a rigorous process that included gathering input from our administrators and staff and providing a survey to parents, the Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education, with the assistance of the search firm West Hudson Associates, began recruiting for a Superintendent of Schools to replace Dr. Daniel Gerardi who will be retiring in June.
After several interviews with finalist candidates and much reflection, the Board has reached a strong consensus to approve Dr. James Heinegg to serve as Superintendent effective July 1, 2012. He will be formally appointed at the February Public Board Meeting.

Support the school district in a unique and nostalgic way through the Education Foundation's Adopt-a-Chair. Proceeds from the program benefit the high school, providing funds for special programs, instruments and/or equipment within the school.,
Donor names, business names or specified dedications are engraved on plaques and affixed to chairs. Each plaque measures 1" by 4" in size, providing enough room for a two-line message.
